Workshop: Deploying Erlang Applications on Heroku

This workshop will take you from zero to a full Erlang-based web service running on the Heroku platform. You'll learn how deployments and releases work on Heroku, as well as dealing with database addons, scaling, visibility, and monitoring.

If you plan to attend the workshop, please install the following required packages if wish to follow along with the demonstration:

• Erlang

Tristan Sloughter is an experienced Erlanger who is a member of the Erlware project and was an organizer/speaker at 2010 ErlangCamp. He currently works on the routing and logging layer of Heroku's PaaS that has enabled hundreds of thousands of developers to build and deploy more than two million applications.
